Scarecrow Festival thanks

The 2019 Scarecrow Festival in Linton proved popular, just as last year’s one did. Over 50 scarecrows popped up around the village, exhibiting much ingenuity, and introducing some of us to figures from literature we’d never heard of before. The sun shone on all the outdoor activities, the food in the Restaurant was delicious, and the team worked tremendously hard to give everyone a good time.

The final figure raised for St Mary’s was just over £3,500. - but more importantly still, lots of friendship was shown and received. Our thanks go to the heroic team who worked so hard to make it a great success.
